1)        All participants must be 21 years of age or older.

2)        All participants must be present to remain eligible. (If there is a question about your ability to be in the contest on a certain night please contact GTI directly or talk to your local DJ)

3)        Persons who entertain are allowed to compete as long as it is part-time income and that person does not belong to any professional organization connected with the entertainment industry that would cause Claude & Annie’s or GTI Sound or any of its affiliates to pay such contestant a fee or any other benefit for taking part in this event.

4)        A “no show” will result in forfeiture of your place in the contest.  This means if a contestant is scheduled to compete and cannot make it and does not contact us in advance to make arrangements, or does not show up that contestant is automatically withdrawn from the competition.

5)        Vulgar and abusive language will not be tolerated.  If you are singing a song that has questionable lyrics please advise your DJ.  As long as the words are part of that song it will be allowed but at the locations with family dining we may delay your song until an appropriate time.

6)        This is a local competition, this in no way is affiliated with any recording studios, artists, or record labels.

7)        Participation in this contest is 100% voluntary.

8)        Contestants, their families or associates who exhibit offensive behavior during any portion of the competition will disqualify that contest for the remainder of the competition. Offensive behavior includes but is not limited to: Poor sportsmanship, bad manners, vulgar or abusive language, physical violence, drunken or disorderly conduct.  This is determined by the associates of each Claude and Annie’s location and the GTI Sound staff members.

9)        Any damage caused to the premises, bar property, or DJ equipment will be your responsibility to replace, and will result in your immediate termination from the competion.

10)    Please respect the bar and its staff at all times.

11)    Please respect the DJ’s and their equipment.

12)    To keep the contest fair for all contestants you must use songs that are in GTI Sounds Karaoke database.  We have approximately 9000 songs from all genres to choose from.  

13)   Claude & Annie’s and GTI Sound have the right to eliminate any person from the competition at any time.

14)    The order in which the contestants compete will be done by a random drawing.

15)    Once the competition begins any song sang during the competition then becomes a “dead song” and cannot be sang again by any of the contestants at your location.

16)    There will be a nominal one-time entry fee of $5.00.  This will be reimbursed to you in the form of a Claude and Annie’s gift certificate via email.

17)    All participants are REQUIRED to supply us with an email address and/or phone number to be eligible.  As we will need to contact you with information regarding this competition.

18) Your email address and/or phone number will NOT be sold or given to any third party sources. Only Claude & Annie's and GTI Sound and its affiliates will have access to this information. 

19)  Any persons whom have been barred from any Claude and Annie's location are not eligible to participate in this contest.
